IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT “DEVELOPMENT OF AN INNOVATIVE COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY AT UAB STIDO”

Stido UAB will implement the project “Development of an innovative composite material and its production technology at Stido UAB” within the framework of the European Union Funds Investment Programme 2021-2027.

The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The project is aimed at the development of a curved polymer composite material (FRC) and its production technology. The project will carry out research and experimental development activities
Weight reduction of the composite material will be achieved by reducing the density and viscosity of the epoxy matrix. At the same time, the newly developed composite material will be more environmentally friendly than conventionally produced material due to the reduced need for epoxy resin.
The R&D activities foreseen in the project will lead to the development of 2 products:

1. technology for the production of a curved composite material
2. a curved composite material
   
   The analysis of scientific sources has shown that the curvature of PSP is of particular relevance to today’s industry, not only because it leads to a more convenient installation and use, but also because it can contribute significantly to cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness, for example, it has been estimated that a 10% reduction in the weight of a car reduces fuel consumption by about 4-7%, and in the case of an aircraft, the reduction can be as high as 7.5%.

The aim of the project is to reduce the weight of the composite material produced by modifying the technological process of the composite material production, thus expanding its use.

In this project, the company will develop e- a trading system that allows you to sell products manufactured by the company and to sell contract manufacturing services more efficiently.

E-mail adapted for mass audience (b2c). the store will include all e- the trading process (formation of the order, payment of the order, registration of the shipment information in the shipping companies, etc.). Custom made e-mail store (the part of the store will allow wholesale trade of custom production.

The IT solution will be developed with the help of an external IT company.
Project implementation duration – 12 months.

The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund and is implemented in accordance with the 2014-2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Program of Lithuania, priority 13 “Promotion of actions to overcome the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and preparation for an environmentally friendly, digital and sustainable economic recovery” measure no. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860 “E. business model for COVID-19”, as the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Šiuo projekto įmonė vystys el. prekybos sistemą, leidžiančią prekiauti įmonės gaminamais gaminiais ir efektyviau parduoti užsakomosios gamybos paslaugas.

Masinei auditorijai (b2c) pritaikyta el. parduotuvė apims visą el. prekybos procesą (užsakymo suformavimą, užsakymo apmokėjimą, siuntos informacijos registravimą siuntų gabenimo įmonėse ir kt.). Užsakomajai gamybai pritaikyta el. parduotuvė (parduotuvės dalis leis vykdyti užsakomosios gamybos prekybą didmena.

IT sprendimas bus kuriamas pasitelkiant išorės IT kompaniją.

Projekto įgyvendinimo trukmė – 12 mėn.

Projektas finansuojamas iš Europos regioninės plėtros fondo ir vykdomas pagal Lietuvos 2014–2020 metų Europos Sąjungos fondų investicijų veiksmų programos 13 prioriteto „Veiksmų, skirtų COVID-19 pandemijos sukeltai krizei įveikti, skatinimas ir pasirengimas aplinką tausojančiam, skaitmeniniam ir tvariam ekonomikos atsigavimui“ priemonę Nr. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860 „E. komercijos modelis COVID-19“, kaip Europos Sąjungos atsakas į COVID-19 pandemiją.
